Melissa Nesta graduated Drexel University in 2020 with a degree in Photography and a minor in Theatre. While at school, Melissa explored the many different facets of photography. She could often be found in the theater either performing or photographing the performances that took place there. Throughout school, Melissa was interested in food photography and spent 6 months working for the Philadelphian food photographer Jason Varney. Her senior thesis, Delicious, pushed the boundaries of food photography and the relationship that people had with their food. Post graduation, Melissa has enjoyed photographing the ethical garments made by Emily Bennison Studio and photographing couples and families beginning new journeys. While the photographic content varied, Melissa’s eye for bold and symmetric images resonates while still staying true to the clients desired aesthetic. In June of 2020, Melissa also had the honor of photographing and being on the cover of Time Magazine.
